First you’ll need to get your marriage license and you can book your appointment here

Complete your marriage license application and bring it with you to your appointment.

Make sure you visit the official San Francisco City Hall site for all the necessary forms of IDs and paperwork needed to submit your application.

Once you get your license, head to step two, and book your ceremony appointment within 90 days!

Now that you’ve received your marriage license, you’ll need to book an appointment for your San Francisco City Hall ceremony.

Appointments are available between 9 - 3:30 pm Monday to Friday.

Ceremonies usually take place at the rotunda, which is atop of the grand staircase.

However, you can also choose to book, for an additional fee- a private ceremony at the Mayor’s Balcony or the 4th Floor Balconies.

Book your photographer (hopefully me!) for you wedding day.
