Ceremony Locations

Where do you get married at San Francisco city hall?

  • A black and white photo of a san francisco wedding ceremony at the rotunda with tall columns and ornate decorations. The bride and groom are standing in the center, surrounded by six other people, including a judge or officiant.

    The Rotunda

Most of my booked ceremonies take place here at the Rotunda. Which is at the top of the grand stair case. If you are only booking your civil ceremony — this is the location that about 98% of San Francisco city hall take place, unless you’ve booked the other locations for an additional fee.

  • A wedding ceremony in a grand, ornate hall with white marble walls and tall columns. The bride and groom stand facing each other with two attendants on either side. Guests seated and taking photos.

    The Mayor's Balcony

Another location that is technically only available if you book and pay a fee, but on some occasion— like when there is an event blocking the rotunda or because the judge offered as an alternate area, you get this wonderful location!

  • Bride and groom standing face to face during wedding ceremony in a grand hall with large arched window, officiant between them holding a book, bride holding a bouquet of flowers, both dressed in formal wedding attire.

    The 4th Floor Gallery

The coveted and most favored of all the locations you can get married in (well, for a fee, but sometimes — my clients have been lucky and were able to hold their ceremony here without originally booking it and paying the fee)
